![]() Ok a little secret for every distributor or manufacturer out there there are always partial or whole of the product brought in from another country that goes through a slight stage changes to be able for distribution here in Canada or the US.(and its up to us to find those countries and their regulations for importing) Another words the activated carbon i carry is labeled Rox 1.3 not imported from Norit USA nor Norit Canada.Simply because the price per lb would jump significantly to over $30/lb for a pallet size of approximately 2400lbs that is with no profit margin landing anywhere in Canada. |

![]() The price is really good, no argument there. We need a good product review!

![]() That sounds like some prime stuff at a great price. I'm still sitting on about 5 lbs of a BRS fine lignite carbon but I've made a mental note to try this out when I need to stock up again.

![]() Eli, can you please simply state the main differences between your product and BRS ROX 0.8. I love the 0.8, it's an amazing carbon, powerful, clean, and almost dust free.

![]() ROX 0.8 is extruded (little pipes) whereas this stuff is not according to Eli. Not sure performance-wise but I imagine 0.8 has fewer fines.

![]() I think the main difference is price. If I bought 15 lbs of BRS ROX for around $250 I'd pay about $16/lbs. Or "Granulated Activated Carbon 25lbs/$225 That is only $9/lb Free shipping CANADA WIDE" http://caco3reef.com/activated-carbon
It also has a larger surface area: 1225 m2/g for BRS ROX and 1670 mg2/g for his.

![]() what size and shape would you describe it? BRS ROX is literally the size and shape of this "i" , but without the dot.
