Based on what my own little set-up has cost me thus far,...I'm going to hazzard a guess at a little over $100K

...on a side note, Looking at systems like this have really made me want to build a new house sooner than later with a nice built in system...I could see spending 50K easy on the fishroom & systems...It could be my mid-life crisis...who needs a fast littel sports car anyway

My fiance is having a heart attack at me that I want to go so far as to put a plumbed in system in to a wall between two rooms. No separate fish room, no structural changes, and the most elaborate remote built in would be a storage tank to hold R/O water in the basement right below the tank.

I don't even want to think what a system like that would do to the re-sale value of your home, but I guess if you plan on growing old and there it really doesn't matter. My little built in can be removed by simply pulling out the tank and putting up a single stretch of drywall... that thing would probably cost 10's of thousands of dollars just to remove.

However, if money truly was 'no issue', I wouldn't think twice about doing the exact same thing, but with an even bigger display (20feet X 5feet baby!)

125K is my guess, just the giesemann fixtures would add up to around 25k retail. I know when the time comes I will do the exact same thing. Who needs a sports car when you can have a giant reef tank in your garage.
