![]() Snow sports enthusiasts. Sliding season's almost over, sigh. Thought I'd share some links to this winter's activities. No less than 3 backcountry trips for me this season, Sol Mountain Jan, Boulder Hut Feb & Trophy Mountain Chalet end Feb/beginning March. Most of these trips run 7 days. Sol Mountain was a bit shorter, but we actually ended up staying an extra day 'cause the heli couldn't get in on our scheduled day out. Good thing my daughter's back in town to keep an eye on the fish tank!
Lodge/Hut web pages http://www.solmountain.com/ http://boulderhutadventures.com/ http://www.skihike.com/site/winter.html My Shaw photoshares from the 3 trips & a Vimeo video from Boulder Hut produced by Denis from Montreal, who was on this trip with us. You'll likely need about a half hour to get through it all, sit back, relax & enjoy the shows & tunes. Sol Mountain Touring Photo Share http://photoshare.shaw.ca/messages/v...5044495-27522/ Boulder Hut Photo Share http://photoshare.shaw.ca/messages/v...8269243-93301/ Deni's vid from Boulder http://vimeo.com/21192725 Trophy Mountain Chalet Photo Share http://photoshare.shaw.ca/view/78202...0207374-47791/ Oh yes, why not, a link from Doug who was also on the Boulder trip. http://www.dholsten.net/2011_02_BoulderHut/ Think I might check out K3 Cat skiing in Sicamous next week for a final fling.

![]() Silver Star was/is pretty nice today. Not even all that busy considering it's a Sunday and actually sunny! I was up there from 09:00 until just before 13:00 and things were softening up nicely, spring skiing at its best. Gotta love a season's pass at the local hill, you don't feel obligated to squeeze every minute out of every day. Go early in the morning to get the freshies, go hard, go home when you're tuckered, which in my case is usually just after noon.
