The 2011 Aqua-Scape WINNER is.....

Not so simple. As the thread indicates, some irregularities have been noted. I believe none of those who entered have done anything wrong and all have had the best of intentions. There are indications that 'others' may have caused the irregularities. Since it was a neck and neck race for most of the voting period I am announcing Co-Winners - each to receive $150 and a big thank-you!! Congratulations to both Bubbles and SkimmerKing. Both are excellent aqua-scapes - each unique and suited for their tanks.

I would also like to say thank you to all that entered the contest. It is great to see how people are aqua-scaping their systems. We hope to be able to push the boundaries of aqua-scaping over the next few years. The one I personally liked was Cale262. The tri-arch design in the cube tank was a very good design which can only be visualized best with multiple pictures from different angles (next year we'll allow up to 3 pictures per entry).

If people have ideas on how to better run the contest for next year please pm me I want to ensure this is a yearly event that is kept as fair as possible.
