Default Tank Stand Rendering

Well I was bored tonight at work, so I thought I would quickly draft up a tank stand for my (hopefully) soon to be tank. First of all, yeah, I know the joints are non-existant, but I thought I would work on their design later. For now the rendering just has a simple butt joint. It is all 2x4 construction except for the front 2x2's on either side of the door. The top is designed to be sheathed in 3/4" MDF or likewise, and I have not designed a base. The front opening is 29 1/2 inches and might have to be structurally reinforced. Also I am designing it to be sheathed with either 3/8" or 1/2" ply and a decorative skirt around the base of the tank. So any comments? Questions? Recomendations?

I would replace the front 2X2's with 2X4's as that is the heavyest spot of the tank with that design. if you put them on a angle running with your side they will not be in the way and will add a extra bit of strength to the fron edge.
