clean everything with really hot RO water and redo the tests. re-read the instructions to make sure you doing everything to the "T". Hold everything perfectly vertical when adding drops of reagents. Holding the bottle at an angle changes the amount of reagent that gets dropped.

The elos is suppose to match the hanna for kh, sailfer usually testing 1dkh higher.

Just finished testing mine. Elos measures alk. @ 9dkh
New Salifert @ 12dkh. Just wonderful. Plus the alk. testing sample in the kit is dry/empty. Give me back my old FasTest alk kits.

Hmmm
I have Elos and Salifer test kits here and both give me very close result of Mg around 1350 and Calc 420, dont have alk for Elos to compare. |

My Elos calcium and Salifert calcium did test close to each other. Its my "belief", that my Elos alk. measure is closer to reality than the "new" Salifert is. The dry test vial makes me wonder how good that particular kit is.
Going to borrow another Salifert and see
