![]() One of these ones that I got from Red Coral. Cheap, works great. I even have to throttle it back still so in theory one of these pumps could probably drive 3 reactors if it were wide open ![]() ![]() |

![]() Well, 2011 is shaping up to be a great year so far in reefland. About a month ago I discovered that I contracted red bugs. Sadly I have run out of interceptor and my local vet will no longer give me any
![]() Also over the past few weeks I have noticed my Clown Tang get more and more aggressive. He started out as a model citizen then started hating my parrot fish for some reason. Strange because neither look nor act alike at all. At first it was hate, now the clown tang as developed murderous eyes for my poor parrot fish who has resorted to hiding in a small cave all day long. Now that the Clown Tang doesn't have to chase the parrot fish as much he has started to assert aggressive tendencies towards other fish. Yesterday I had no choice but to sump him for the time being for fear that he might murder my entire tank over night. This morning the parrot fish was out and about and EVERYONE seemed so much more at ease. Sad because I do love my clown tang, but not sure what to do with him at the moment.. ![]() Last edited by kien; 02-01-2011 at 10:35 PM. |

![]() I love clown tangs and was quite PO'd when I lost mine in the velvet outbreak almost 2 yrs ago. I did really really want to add another one to my 230g (partly because the first one I had was awesome and never picked on anyone) and mostly because I love the look of them. However I have an awesome powder blue and purple tang that I'd hate to see get picked on (not sure if the clown would or not though since he'd be in after them, most likely it would be the other way around) and I want to add a naso tang which should go in before a clown tang and I have a long horn cowfish that I absolutely do not want to risk stressing out whatsoever. Ugh *sigh* Ugh must.......resist.........the possible.........temptation........of awesome clown tang......... ![]()
