![]() I was thinking of using 4 moceans, one in each corner with a tunze 6105 or 6205. The edga of the tank sticks out 3 1/2" out, I was thinking thats two far out for me. The ramdom patter sounds good, but it might be to ramdom for the coarls. I thought the cords on the tunze would break over time too.
My other throught for water flow is CL from side to side. Its cheaper to buy, but more to run. Thanks for your reply

![]() I think if you're using the Vertex motions it would be most advantageous to run it off of a closed loop. I have a waveysea (same as the motions I think) and I LOVE it. I just have it hooked up to my return pump. But if I had a couple more in there, then the flow would definitely be super random especially if you change the speed of your sweep once in a while on the different Vertex motions. I would never mount a Tunze on one simply because of the size of the Tunze. I personally don't like to see anything not natural looking in the aquarium. The only protrusion I have in my aquarium is the 90 degree elbow from the Waveysea. Hopefully this helps your decision making.
