yes and yes but you can just plug these in
you need to build a led fixture

The fixture im building is similar to 3x 250-400 MH fixture

Would I be able to incorperate night
Lights as well?
How many bulbs should I use for a standard 90gallon, and what colour to use?
What would the cost be about?
What else would I need to buy?
Anyways I'm interested but know nothing about them.

you could do a moonlight several different ways, I still havent decided how I would do mine.

A standard 90 wanting to keep SPS could build two of the modules im building.
http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=70413
of course you need different drivers for two modules.

to build an LED light you would need:
LEDs
Heatsink
Drivers
thermal paste
solder + soldering iron
screws
wire

If you follow along on my thread, ill be detailing it step by step. You can also search LED DIY builds and they will explain how to do it too.
There is also videos on youtube.

cost for a two 48LED modules would probably be under 1k

first post updated with questions answered

looks like there is no tax at the vendor end but when it hits the border there will be tax. So expect a % ontop of the total LED cost to cover the border cash grab. Im not sure how to charge this one, anyone got some ideas?

looks like 8%? but im guessing this was written before the HST?

Hi Milad,

No problem! I'll pay you the amount for the leds I need next week and the outstanding balance ( i.e. tax + shipping cost as prorated ) will be settled when I collected my stuff.

in case thy dont ship with usps but whit ups, fed ex ore so, I have a borker that charges only a flat fee, if you buy for $20 ore for $ 2,000 it dous not matter,

out of my head it is $ 22 ore $ 25 CND for the broking service, so that would not be to bad on anorder that is aparently running into the numbers, where ups and all of the others rip you off.

I will place my order in a few days, in case needed, we can use my broker to arange the import, I have to check the duty on the led's of my last order, i will do this tomorrow, and let you know.

pleas note, custom fee is not HST, so if there was a 8% duty, than it is the cost of the product + the cost of shipping = total cost pre duty, than ad the 8% duty, and than ad the 12% HST.

tax tax tax, we cant go around it, however the duty, is not that bad I find.

i will post what I paid on duty last time, I think it was less than 8%, I think it was 5 ore so. I wil check
