![]() Yes, you could make a fixture with as many bulbs as you wanted. Looks like they have their own reflective surface. You won't need a ballast as they are 12 Volts DC. So an appropiate 12 V power source is all that is needed. (depending on the amt of bulbs you use)
But, do you really want a 6000- 7000 degrees Kelvin bulb for a saltwater tank? Thats really good for a planted freshwater, but saltwater should be between 10,000 to 20,000 depending on your preference |

![]() Wouldn't use them for corals, the LEDs won't be powerful enough for most corals. You want something that uses 3W LEDs or at least 1W.

![]() i have 3 of them on order-should be in next week-that i am using on my plankton reactors.i'll test the par on them-but i agree that you would need a 3 watt system
