Shipping won't be a problem. I talked to the supplier and he is guaranteeing us 8 - 3" A grade and about 20 - 3" A grade derasa as well. So far two of the hippo's are already spoken for.

It looks like the hippo's will be $70 and the derasa will be $100.

I wonder... does anyone care enough to read signatures if you make them really small? I would not. I would probably moan and complain, read three words and swear once or twice. But since you made it this far, please rate my builds.

I thought those clams looked like Maxima in the picture. I also wanted to find out more about the hippo clams because they are not available in the trade very often.

apparently these hippo clams arent even of the tridacna family....

This is a picture of a hippo clam...

Um it looks like you have some very pretty maximas pictured. Hippopus clams aren't nearly as pretty and don't extend their mantles.

These are hippopus clams, while "neat" I don't think they're nearly as awesome as maximas:
