Help! Cloudy tank, skimmer is crazy and maybe some ich!

mine did the same tonight my breaker popped and when i restarted skimmer overflowed(i have to remember to unplug skimmer when this happens) so all the crud returned to the tank. i have skimmer off atm and wil be doing a water change shortly i just find if i turnthe skimmer on fora bit and over flow it int a pop bottle eventually it clears itself.. just alot of work. but if you can do a water change it will help.
