![]() The details:
48" tall beckett style skimmer originally built by "retired from the hobby" Canreef member "Canadian Man". This skimmer did a bang up job servicing his 230g reef tank. It subsequently travelled up to Edmonton and then back to Calgary when I bought it, intending to use it on my 280g. 6" diameter cast acrylic tube with 1/8" wall thickness. The box is 3/8" acrylic. The not-so-pretty: Some assembly is required. I can give you a tube of weld-on to do the job. ![]() Selling it, instead of fixing it up myself, because I bought a new skimmer and realistically have no need to keep this now. If nothing else there is good salvage value in the acrylic. I paid $200 for this thing ... the "please just get it out of my house" price is $50.
