Acans need to be fed. They require low light as well.

Try giving them frozen cyclopeeze and see what happen. If they lose color put them in a lower ligth area. Mine nearly all bleached under my 250 watt MH and I had to put them in the shade. Now with food and low ligth they are coming back nicely.
