Egg crate is so the live rock doesn't sit on the glass. Because the rock doesn't sit completly level but rather on jagged points, it can crack the glass if you have lots of live rock. I thought it would be better safe then sorry

Yup... Partick you just made me realise I have Aptasia

I guess its time for the war to begin... I think I am going to try some lemon juice with a needle I only have about 5 of these. Maybe some Peppermint shrimp to maintain control

Get them before they get out of control! A needle and some lemon juice worked for me. What kind of shrimp was that anyways?

I counted the tank this mourning and there are 7 that I can see. To be honest they really haven't spread, some did grow as big as 1.5". I was just planning on injecting them directly with that sodium hydroxide stuff, but I have concentrated lemon juice at home which I may try first.

I just started feeding Piscine freshwater mysis shrimp. They are huge suckers! To big for most of my fish
