![]() found some 250w mh bulbs that are 22000 lumens(mh250 iwasaki).don't know the kevlin rating.Is this equal to 10k?

![]() Lumens are a measure of intensity I believe, like candlepower, and therefore have nothing to do with kelvin. As Steve said, Iwasaki bulbs are generally 6500k, although I believe that they also make a 20000k bulb.

![]() Are you sure they're Iwasaki? At that price I'd guess that they're for nurseries, maybe 4500k or 5500k.

![]() I would have to say if they were rating the lights in Lumens they would be used in plant grow lights as light output is measured that way. If they were made for the Aquarium industry kelvin would be noted
Kelvin measures the light temperature or visible spectrum were as Lumens is a measure of foot candles or light intensity J |
