Vertex Skimmer IN 180 Q

Okay, the impeller shaft on my Resun pump is broken (the magnetic looks like it is corroding). From personal experience and from reading many posts, Resun pumps can be a nightmare. So my question is, and one I can't seem to find an answer to ANYWHERE, what pumps can I use on my Vertex IN 180 Gen 1. Emphasis on the Gen 1

I have read that the Bubble Blaster 3000 pump really pushes the skimmer but what I can't find is that if it works on a Gen 1 Vertex or not.

Any help would be very, extremely appreciated. I don't want to buy another Resun pump nor do I want to shell out any money for a new skimmer (a pump, that will last, I can deal with).
