I've seen amazing tanks with either T5s or MH. I really did miss the shimmer when I went with T5's for the past few months. You can play around with the color more easily with T5's, and you'll proly use less electricity.

Looking pretty nice , just curious what caused ur tank to crash and how find the full actinic tank look in your tank like and how the corals react to it.

some equipment malfunction caused the crash, but it is corrected now (heater). I don't exactly understand the Actinic question, but I'll answer about my lighting.

I use a 20K XM and a 20K Icecap (250W DE). I'm not worried about par bc the tank is so shallow. I like it. It's way too much light for this tank, but it's what I had.
