![]() I had a nudibranch also that looked exactly like that and was also told that it ate algae. After doing some research I too found out that they more likely fed on sponges... The LFS stuck to their guns on what they believed it ate, and my nudibranch is currently MIA. He lasted a month or so.
The tank looks very nice btw!! ![]()

![]() I picked up one of these guys too, before I did any research first (wrong order of course!). To me, these guys seem like a good impulse buy. It's definitely believable that they do eat algae, but they are in fact carnivores. As somebody mentioned earlier, they thrive on a specific sponge. I did as much reading as I possibly could in the hopes that I WOULDN'T be killing this neat little creature. I know research is supposed to be done first, and it's still sad that they are found in the trade. All we can do is learn and do our part to be educated ourselves.
