I think it would be a good first coral, if your tank has good parameters. Birdsnest were some of my first corals, they are doing pretty good. Plus its free.

my pH was 7.8 last I checked... I don't know why it dropped so low (used to be 8.2), and I don't know how to get it up, but it hasn't been an issue as I have no corals yet. Could someone give some pointers on this?
