I should stop looking...the more i look at the tanks with these ICE CooL.E.Ds the more i want to switch my 30g lighting into it....STOP TEMPTING ME!!

How are you liking the dual colored shimmer lines That was the weirdest part of the LEDs for me when i first used one. Still cant get over how the refraction of light from surface movement actually breaks the colors back into its own spectrum.

Ya maybe it is!

The multi color shimmer is probably the hardest thing to get used to at first but it grows on you quite fast i find. Hows the coverage with the 60 degree optics for you? do you still find it too concentrated? and how well is the tank light with the use of 3 of them?

last 2 pics are just the 20k.

i think it would be covers really will if i switched the 20k to 80degree

the front right corner doesnt get much light neither does the back right on the left of the over flow.

the little desk lamps i have arnt strong enough to keep the lights pointing straight down on the tank.

i need to find a cheap source for desk lamps like this

i was thinking i would just drill and tap some holes into my wall brackets then use a die to thread the peg at the base of the lamp.

but theses are sort big ugly and awkward looking.... so i will have to do more searching

Great idea with the frag plugs and the ric's, I can't wait to see them grown in (Which I'm sure will be nice and fast). That multi color shimmer is amazing, props to OC for bringing in another fantastic product!

I love how I keep coming back to read this thread to see clams and there aren't actually any in there. But it's a great tank, love the look of it.
