![]() I tried one several years ago when I was very new to this hobby. It died after a month or so despite my feeding the tank green liquid pollution aka Kent Microvert. They're best avoided unless kept with other non photosynthetic filter feeders in a specialized system that receives a constant supply of live phytoplankton. Thats my opinion... Also, they like to hide so one may very well disappear into your rocks where you wont be able to see it.
Why not get a Tridacna clam instead?
