Well I have been thinking about this a bit this weekend..

Lofus - This is a DIY take off of the Tunze stream style pumps and I would hardly say that they are inefficiant at moving water. To my understanding the prop moves a higher volume of water at a lower rate so rather than the typical jet from a normal pwerhead you get a wider flow at a slightly lower velocity but much more volume moved. (Hmmm it is still early so this may not make sense)

I wonder how the Tunze pumps get around this...
Was this what caused the pumps with the Reeftec mod to crater?
