a single 20K 150W MH and two T5-HO actinic (one blue, one purple)
looking to change to a 10K MH and two blue actinics

nice is that a fish-need-it fixture? have you tried the 14k bulb?

no its a CAD i purchased of a fellow reefer it also has built in led moonlights
 haven't tried any lights besides the 20K MH looking for a really white one....

oh right on, im a fan of the more blue light, makes the colors pop more in my eyes. well it looks pretty good dude good work. keep it up

im also a fan of the blue but i thought if the MH was white the actinics would create the blue i want?

i know with my 250w mh and my dual pc actinics there isnt much diff with mine. the pc's imo dont do much in my tank till the halide goes out. i have a 14k in there right now but i want to go with something more blue. if there was one between 14 and 20 id get it. i just need to replace all my bulbs to know whats gonna work best

well there was a really nice 14K at AI i was looking at for $85 i was thinking about :P
