oh wow, +1! I don't remember the last time I saw one of these in a LFS.. How do you suppose one would do in say.. a shallow tide pool?

An easy-listening shallow lagoon, 104.72 gallons on your FM dial, per chance? Sounds rather good to me! Go for it! And if you get bored of them I know someone who might be able to take them off yer hands by then.
