Here is a quote from an independent test of a 24" light strip.

"With a brand new ATI Blue Plus 24", with a smaller SunBlaze reflector behind it, I am seeing around 250 - 275. At the same distance with the ReefBrite I am hitting 485 - 510. I should recant that it's not quite double, or more than double, just depending on the reading. If you've ever used a par meter you know that they jump around a bit when just holding them, and not permanently attached to something"

They come with the controller, not sure if they can be hooked into a reef controller or not. The power consumption details have not been provided.

Is this plug and play? Do I need to buy a separate transformer?
