When it comes down to it, its all about preference Derek If you like the blues in my tank then go with what you have (I actually have even more actincs plus than 4). I don't like Fiji purples as I find they are a very blah pink color but as Kevin has suggested there is much more than 1 way to outfit your fixture. My reasoning behind the extra blue is that blue light has a much higher frequency and smaller wave length than other colors which means it contains more energy. So far my corals have reacted very well and I do enjoy them more under actinic lighting.

I believe it adds the red spectrum back to the mix cause that is the first one to go in the water column and also makes the greens pop.

Not only greens, any color that fluoresces will pop under actinics. Quantum mechanics is such a... baffling topic.
