The model number on the display is 03.03.18 and the manual says 03.03.16 I4 so I believe the manual is from an older model and the light is the newer model. As for power suppliy problems I did have one of them go down and had to replace it but I found a computer techinician in Drayton Valley who was able to take a new 600 watt power supply and modify it to accept the 4 pin conector for the lights and it works absoulutly great. The new power source also has two cooling fans built into it so as to help disipate heat quicker and easier. The best part is it only cost me about 150 bucks for thew new unit and the mods as he had to test all the connections on the old and new units to make sure he knew which wires to use. He said if the other unit go down for any reason he could cut the mod time in half bringing th ebill down to about 100.00 bones. Hope this answered your questions guys and let me know if you need to know anything else.

I think most people are reluctant to buy something when the company that built it was sued and is out of business

Well if they are not knowing of the reason for the lawsuit I can understand their reluctance but being the lawsuit was brought about due to a Patent on the LED idea by another company and not the technology or quality of the product(the power supply bing an exception as I feel they just did not get a chance to properly address the issue and come up with a proper fix due to the lawsuit shutting them down in mid stride) I feel that yes it is unfortunate that they are out of business and no longer able to support the product but that this in no way affects the overall quality and benifit of this particular lighting alternative.

Actually, I'm not sure that's 100% true as the emitters are soldered 5 to a PCB strip and you need specialized reflux soldering equipment to deal with these kinds of LEDs. If you overheat the board while removing and replacing one emitter you may end up damaging the others on the board. That is why PFO simply replaced the whole strip if one or more emitter burned out.
