new projectish.. pretty much done too

I did a b16 v-tec swap and tein full coilovers
next its getting a turbo.

next car i want is either a nissan GTI-R or im going to get a 2nd gen rx7 with a blown motor and drop a 5.0L in it
drop a 5.0 liter in an rx thats crazy, when all ya got to do is bridge port the 13b put a new carb and header on it and ya got 300hp nd it weighs half as much as a 5.0. just my opinion though. as i was going to do the same to my first gen rx when i ws back in highschool. had a done up 327 vett engine sittin beside my rx but then thought about all the mods id have to do with suspension rear end tranny and crap like that

Default my lil project

this is my 1974 mazda b1800 it is all original with 45000miles. i picked it up from an older couple who were the original owners since 1974 and drove it very little. i picked it up for $300. so now i am going to work on it all i can.
i am rebuilding a 12a rotory for it that i am getting bridge ported, a webber 45 carb kit and a header with 3 inch straight pipe exhaust. looking into getting some 17in chrome rims and some lower profile tires. i am hopeing it will be done by mid summer if all goes well with work.

2880lbs with a chevy motor the 5.0 is a bit lighter then the chevy.
2645lbs is a stock 2nd gen rx-7 the turbo 2 is 3003lbs

http://www.grannysspeedshop.com/

has a kit for under $1500

i would love to have a brudge ported rx7 they sound amazing but under 8 mpg... thats just retarded with bigger injectors tuned down and a better computer system i could be getting 20mpg and still have a awsome car.

not saying it would be a dumb idea it would be awesome to do that. i had a buddy who used to live in edmonton who put a 5.0 in his first gen and it was just crazy the power he had. it was gonna be alot of work for me to do that when i was 17 but now that im 26 and know a lot more about the rotory ill stick with a bridgy. my mechanic tht helps me out with my rx-7s has 18 of them all done up for ice racing and time track. he has an old rx3 that he has all tuned up. that thing sounds amazing.
his first gen is exactly like the one i drive everyday, yeah even in the winter everyone thinks im crazy but its fun.
im excited to get my little truck running this spring with my 12a i am working on that truck is geared low as well so it will be awesome off the line
