![]() Vodka dosing is a form of carbon dosing, which fuels growth of anaerobic bacteria which in turn increase their consumption of nitrate and phosphate. Vodka is a convenient carbon source but it can also come from sugar and vinegar (and some carbon dosing regimens actually involve all 3).
And yeah .. it's good for drinking or so I've been told. ![]()
