I am just selling my blackberry and the buyer is concerned she wont be able to use the messenger. She thinks I need to get a pin or something before it can be transferred to her. Does anyone know anything about this ? google is not turning anything up..thank you!!

Every blackberry when assigned a phone number from a provider automatically gets a PIN number. You use the PIN to use messenger between the different blackberries.

no it should be right onto the phone. go under options, then status. it should show you this

ahh ok. I found the pin. When this girl takes over the phone wont I still show up on all of my blackberry messenger contacts phones? I think she is just looking for a fresh start on the thing...so confusing haha

you can still delete the pin#'s you added on your phone so its a fresh start to her

pins are unique to the phone. if she deletes the other pins then it will be pretty much a fresh start. you need to have the pins for people to bbm the phone with no pin there is no connection
|
