+1 Rivals the Foxface as the best algae eaters IMO

Any suggestions for something that feeds on various types of caulerpa but at the same time won't be too competitive for food if kept with seahorses? A tang would be an obvious solution for the algae but wouldn't work well in this tank.

I've been thinking of nabbing one of those seahorses off Colby too, but ya the Tang would have to go, and that would be sad!

Too bad you already have the ponies though, since I would seriously let you borrow "Skipper". He's easy to catch (well...in my tank anyway!). Take a peek at Hector's Gobies. I think they mainly go for hair algae though. They wouldn't be competitive with the horses...they won't usually eat prepared foods.

Are your ponies eating yet? What are they eating? PE Mysis?

Yes I'm feeding mine PE mysis. All the horses at the store are eating frozen, they are a special type of captive bred and are much hardier than the standard.

Thanks of the suggestion but even if they ate the algae I have I would need 100 of them

Why don't we just trade then? I'll take your horses, and you can have my Tang!!! Ya, I was in the store when Colby was unpacking the horses. They looked REALLY good!! Do you know what specie they are? I tried doing some research...
