I'm in the 40+ group but started reefing in my 30+ days. I'm sure there are more of us "older" reefers out there but just more secretive or just can't figure out that #@@##!!! internet.

I started my first reef in 1993 it also had an UGF (under-gravel filter), a Skilter 250 "protein skimmer", 18w of T8 lighting, and a Condy anemone that didn't appreciate any of that.

Sounds just like me! Im 26, and got my first SW in 1990! 75Gal undergravel filter, skilter, a couple t8's sebae nem, and some dead coral! I still have the journal i wrote in french (i went to french school) about how excited i was to set it up and get clown fish!)

I'm 26, started about 6 years ago with a converted (from fresh) 72 gallon bowfront and a Seaclone skimmer. Just now tearing down the 120 I've had for the past 5 years as I'm moving places next weekend. Tank wise, I'm moving to a five foot 112 gallon (approximately) room divider (the place is small

). I still have the same yellow tang (knock on wood) from the 72 gallon. If it weren't for him, I'm not sure I'd be setting up a new tank, but doing so has kept the interest going strong!
