Default cleanup crew and bio-diversity and all that jazz...

In Canada, beyond snails and a few small hermit crabs, what can I find to add to my tank.

If I was just 2 hours south, I could go shopping at any of a dozen online stores and pick up worms, pods, sandbed clams etc you name it.

In Vancouver, all I have been able to find is snails and crabs. I have 3 different types of snails now... but I would like to have a little more diversity.

Is there anything like these stores in Canada?:

ipsf.com or florida-aqua-farms.com?

Anything in particular you can't find? Here, you can get sea cucumbers, various starfish, spaghetti worms, bristleworms, emerald crabs, sally lightfoot crabs, lettuce sea slugs..

I don't visit J&L that often, but on their website, they say they carry all the stuff Samw mentioned. Perhaps somethings you'll have to special order? BTW, here's their latest shipments from their newsletter.

Livestock Shipments:

Thursday September 4th: LPS/SPS/Soft Corals. This shipment arrived early this
morning with some stunning specimens.

Thursday September 4th: Hawaii fish. As well as standard Hawaii fare also
included in this shipment were Achilles Tangs, and ONE Black Tang.

Upcoming Livestock Shipments:

September 10th: Caribbean - Crabs, Snails, Invertebrates
September 12th: Bali - Fish
September 16th: Fiji/Tonga - Rock/Clams (**SEE BELOW**)
September 24th: South America - Fish (Queens, Frenchs, etc.)

**ROCK & CLAMS**

If you are interested in Fiji rock and would like to pre-book some please
have your orders into us no later than Wednesday September 10th.

We are only expecting a limited amount of 3-4" Maxima's (Blues, greens, etc.).
Prices and availability will be posted on the New & Noteworthy page.

Thanks Sam.

I went thru that list last night and didnt see the bristle worms, spaghetti worms, etc. And then, after reading about the variety some reefers down south have in their tanks, I got a little bit jealous

Anyways, looks like I may be placing an order with SWC - thanks
