Very impressive Doug. Some of those colonies are getting pretty large. Time for an upgrade?

Thanks Lance....I wish I could upgrade....I rent, so that means the tank has to be somewhat portable....any bigger than this is a major event requiring logistics and schtuff....this tank is small enough to be moved relatively easily.

Finally got the g/f trained I came home from the shop the other night with a couple bags with some clean up crew for the pony tank....the g/f meets me at the door and says there are some groceries in her car, could I go get them? So I hand her the bags and toodle off to the car to get the groceries.....carry them in and get distracted talking to her and putting groceries away....15min go by and I realize that I didnt float the bags in the sump....I rush out to the tank and the g/f already had them floating....I love her.....now, if I could just train her to clean the glass

Holy cow that green one is thick. I've seen a few like this lately...do these particular species grow like that always or can many do this if flow is just right?

Props on having the GF partially trained. I consider my wife FULLY trained. She touches NOTHING on my tank. My daughter on the other hand is a slow learner. She flipped a switch while I was filling the tank and I got to hear what a Tunze Stream sounds like dry....if only for 1 bazillionth of a second.

Not sure on the ID on that one, but thats how it has always been....real thick and meaty....Ive been wanting to frag it but Im not sure how, without taking half the colony
