I have a 2 1/2 year old who loves Dora. That is one awsome pumpkin carving! Maybe I'll have to do Boots!

That will teach me for dressing in the dark... come to think of it I dont think I was wearing matching socks either.

Here is the final concept. A red strobe light and fog machine are hidden inside. The whole thing will be this years addition to my annual front-yard graveyard.

Gee, all I got is a pumpkin and a foam headstone in my yard. That coffin will definetly be popular with the kids on Saturday!

Inspired by the show in Regina this summer: Angus Young

I couldn't take the picture straight on because the candle flame kept messing up the shot, so this one makes one of the horns look kinda funny

I spent a little under two hours on it... but Halloween is my favourite non-December holiday - so it's serious business. It's kind of a departure from the last few years - I usually go for something a little more Halloween-y. But I suppose the devil horns kind of applies.

Looks a little baked. And not because there's a flame behind him!

Nice carving. This year all I had was a cumsy steak-knife or I would have gotten a little crazier.

Someone needs to laser CNC one of these badboys.

I havent put everything out yet this year. I save the items that cant handle the weather for last. Here is a 2007 picture (yup thats snow) as I recently had a computer problem and lost nearly all of my pictures. Simple crosses, the noose, coffin, jack-o-lanterns, black candles, animal bones, fake human bones, colored lights... lots of inexpensive but effective stuff.
