If it makes you feel any better they're Hawaiian which do much better in captivity than the indo ones. They were also eating when I was in. Many people have had success with these fish including myself, there success isn't the greatest but I believe that's more based on the cheaper indo alternative.

There's a big thread on them if you're interested, they do discuss the difference between Hawaiian and Indo Idols.

Oh and those tilefish are freaking unreal!

well i am glad to hear that they are eating and doing well, it's just not a fish i like to see imported after seeing how different they look/act in the wild.

Yeah it's a touchy subject, but I just thought I'd let you know. I never see them in the store very often these may have been specially order

haha, well its definitely not the best debate topic. i am sure though that bayside will take good care of them and send them to a good home.
