Default Octopus NW-150 skimmer?

Has anyone had any experience with the Octopus NW skimmers? I am considering getting an NW-150. It is available at Progressive reef but I cannot see this design on the Coral Vue website any longer were there is info on all of the different Octopus skimmer types.

i got mine directly from SWC (winnipeg). It skims super wet, which i suppose is cuz i mainly have a fowlr with a few softies.

So far it's not troubles, and when i did the meshmod i honestly didnt really notice a difference in skimming (however, like a 8 watt drop in terms of power consumption)

However, there are the odd times the motor wont start until you blow into the air intake tube.
