![]() hey i just added a Bubble tip anemone to my tank and it wont stay on any rock should i just let him float around

![]() Yup. It will eventually find a spot that it likes and hopefully it won't be too close to a powerhead. Mine would settle down for a week at a time and then moved. It hasn't moved in about 6 months now so....... hopefully it will stay still now.

![]() Maybe try and surround it with some rubble. It will hold it up right and give it a place to attch to.

This behavior is normally a sign of extreme stress and/or near death for the anemone Assuming that your tank environment is perfect, the only thing you can do is wait to see if your anemone can recover from whatever caused the stress in the first place. Occasionally this behavior is caused when an anemone is first added to a new system and when the anemone is not carefully and slowly acclimated.
