![]() IMO that tank is too small for a Regal I would stick with the Zebrasoma group. So Yellows, Scopas, Purple etc.

![]() Websites of Online stores and LFS and LFS themselves understate the tank size requirements for tangs because they are in the business of selling fish.
Your tank is too small for a tang. Tang are swimmers and require the swimming room larger tanks provide. They scoot from one end of the tank to the other. Small tanks don't allow them to what they like to do. Perhaps your next tank might be a 6footer. But it is always a mistake to buy a fish in the belief that you will upgrade to a larger tank later. Things change; a move, marriage, divorce and money etc. Thanks for asking before you bought a tang and make sure you go slow and only add one fish per month (unless it a tiny one). |
