Just got back from Dave's and I AM IN LOVE!...... Not with Dave of course.....
People, this tank is AWESOME! It is huge, and the fish are incredible. Dave's done a great job with the rock work too. Large pillars of rock, yet lots of open space for the fishes.
When I first started out in SW, it was all about the fish. Then I gradually got more and more interested in corals, until the fish became almost secondary. BIG fish, in a big tank like this, are so much more interesting. With the large fishes cruising about and interacting, you don't even notice that there's not a single coral, or shrimp or clam. Who needs corals with a tank like this. Great job Dave!

New this morning, no lights, indirect lighting from the window in the room behind.

Thanks, but like most here the pics do no justice, I am hoping to get some nicer pics once I have the lighting straightened out, thinking about T-5's with one halide for that shimmer effect.

Couple random fish shots, I will get some equipment pics later, but there is not much to see as it is basically just a sump full of live rock and a giant skimmer.
