help to newbie about overflow

I used to have a 45 gallon with overflow and it does not work very well for me, almost got a flooding floor once, so I can't recommend anything here. But +1 to get a drill tank, it will make your life easier. Maybe try to find a used drilled tank for cheap and transfer your live stock over. May has to pay a little more than overflow but you will be a happy man in a long run
