Today's progress, plan has been changed allready, originally I was going to close in a 6x12' section (leaving 2' around the tank for access) then I got to thinking how much time I spend behind the reef tinkering so the room is now going to be 8x22' there will be 2 1/2' on one side, 4' behind (12" sits inside the wall) and 11 1/2' on the other side (room for a comfy chair and beer fridge) Waiting on the quote from the welder for the stand, have to work tomorrow, more progress on Wed. here are a few reno pics to please the photo junkies.

Here is the window that is comming out

Removing stucco, Fun

And the first wall is up.

Are you getting a permit etc or is this a 'just do it'?

I'd love to just start tacking walls to the outside of my place but at the same time I'd love to stay married since nobody else will put up with me! I'm going to enjoy this...keep the build MOVING!

Walls are only temporary, there will be no wiring or plumbing and no structural alterations, so no permit required
