Yes from what I have read they are done. Went out with a flurry of un-shipped but paid for product.

but that is just what I have read

Sorry this is off topic. How well did your unit work (gal per hour) cause mine suck. I bought the 100 gal/day, maybe got 500 mls per day.

2 factors that will determine the output of your RO unit.

1. Source water temperature (membrane rates are based on 77F water I believe)

2. Water Line pressure (the membrane is based on 60 psi)

The higher the source water temperature the more production you can get (don't hook up the source water to the hot water line).

The higher the water line pressure the more production you will get (you can get a booster pump for your RO system that will boost the PSI to 80).

When my filters are newly replaced it will take about 3 hours to fill a 5 gallon bucket. Its not a 100 gallons per day, but its always been like that since the day I got it.

Your RO membrane is screwed. I've installed many aquasafe units but all the most recent ones have had problems including a few with bad RO membranes which resulted in the same symptom you are having.

I use these units now, about the same price and quality as aquasafe use to be. You can also get replacement filters from the same seller.
