![]() Any glass shop will do it, just give them the dimentions. I have used Alberta glass and Glass Unlimited, had it within a day or two.

![]() Yes, keeping your tank uncovered means it will evaporate more and faster, but that evaporation is what's keeping your tank cool! Without that evaporation your tank will boil, hehe. Well, not boil but would get very very hot!
And yes, it will also get very dirty very very fast, with salt caked on and perhaps algae. You will be cleaning that top glass every other day so that it is clean enough for light to shine through it. You'll get tired of cleaning it and will eventually stop using it.. hehe! |

![]() Another thing to worry about when covering a tank with glass is poor "gas exchange"....look for nylon "chicken wire" that they use to keep birds out of your garden. You just need to make a frame either out of wood or wire and attach the "chicken wire" to it....blocks out very little light....and keeps your critters in....so Ive been told anyway
