![]() I'm ready for the heat wave this week; already have air conditioning, bought a couple extra fans for surface evaporation and froze ten 2-litre pop bottles for the sump.

![]() Well yesterday I pulled out my 1/2 HP Pacific Coast chiller and it immediately brought my temp back to 81 F.

![]() It's hot but not scorching in White Rock. Tanks are running around 27 C right now.

![]() In the apt, its 30C in the evening and 27C in the morning with all windows wide opened. Tank temp is even warmer. That was yesterday. Today might be worse.
I have an Evaporative Cooler from Sunpentown that blows out air at 27C when the room is 30C. It helps. Last edited by Samw; 07-29-2009 at 12:46 AM. |
