Regarding the Mag 4, they are known to do that. I'm using a Poseidon PS3 on my 90, and it will restart on it's own. They are expensive though, and add quite a bit of heat to the water.
Eeep! You're definitely going to have to give your wife a list!! The Rabbitfish (depending on specie) will probably outgrow the 90 too. You need to post pics of the fish!!
