Oh Yeah I remember that post. My new tank's 72" and is has a canopy as well so that one would have been a tough fit and a little too short but it is a heck of a nice looking fixture.

Ah, i never realized it was 6' but i guess when your in the 200+ range that generally puts you at about the 6' mark

Default HID lightings

i read up on HID lights once and my impression was that these lights need to be replaced every 3 to 4 months to maintain their intensities.

plasma is old stuff also the lumiarc was first mentioned here about 4 years ago.. but there were some issues to be sorted out yet.
