I wasn't aware that the blue-spotted jawfish are in the Caribbean...or do you mean yellowheaded jawfish, or are you talking two seperate shipments?

both yellowhead and bluespots occur in fully tropical areas. Bluespots occur in the Carribean as well (I don't know if yellowheads do too).

That link confirms my previous statement.

Yellow-heads are a carribean species and the blue-spots comes from the sea of cortez off the west coast of mexico. Some additional info...

oooops, sorry muck, after checking distributions on fishbase I see you're absolutely right. don't how how I got that mixed up before.

ian, sorry for the hijack too. anyways, I have been considering a yellowhead jaw for a new tank I'm setting up... so I'm a tentative yes for now at least couldn't justify paying the usual tag on a blue spot though.
