![]() I already have the dosing down, and make the Randys recipe. I hardly have any algae these days at all, and have no plans for livestock anymore. We live in the woods and the house is always cool, which is a wonderful thing. I already saw a big eunicide (sp) living in the pipes going to my fuge... don't know how to deal with it yet and pretend I didn't see it. The husband pretend she didn't hear me say it was there and his job is insects and dead stuff...

Algae can creep up outta nowhere, don't be thinkin that an algae free 4 month old tank is out of the woods yet!! ![]() I would get on catching that Eunicid worm...they can wreak havoc by eating corals and/or fish. |

![]() I use 332ml of the part one of randys recipe daily... The system is probably 325g with the rock sump and fuge together. I have a profilux controller which has me in a rage at the moment and will be getting the doser to go with it. I have corals and they are all growing and nothing is dying or sick. I had a tank for over a year prior to this one, but nothing even comparable to this one.
When I figure out how to sort and organize my photobucket, I will break my system down and list everything I have in it. I tried to have it in my signature line but ran out of room... Quote:

![]() I just went and looked at your photos again...I forgot how many corals you already have in that tank. I'm really surprised you haven't run into more problems than you have considering the amount of livestock you crammed into there in a mere 4 months.

![]() There are many factors that I think have helped me be successful. I won't post too much about it in case it encourages anyone else to do what I have done. We did a lot of research and also had a tremendous amount of help form a fellow member. If it was not for him, I would not be where I am today... He knows who he is
![]() My params never change, but I still do water changes weekly. I always test my water to be sure everything is in check. The tank also cycled for over two months prior to my fish going in... I don't know I have just been lucky. I follow what my canreef buddy has told me exactly and it has paid off to have his help whenever I need to ask him something about the system. |
